Fulton man NOT guilty

A Callaway County man is found not guilty of a 2019 murder. ABC 17 reports a jury yesterday (thur) afternoon decided not to convict Michael Hatfield. He was arrested soon after 49-year-old James Newsom was found dead in a home in Readsville east of Fulton. Hatfield’s attorney says Hatfield shot Newsom in self-defense.
