Will we see more bear sightings in Central Missouri? Adam Doerhoff with the Missouri Department of Conservation says bears don’t just hide out in the woods all the time.

Doerhoff  says it’s best to just leave bears alone if you see one. Missouri’s first bear season will be in October. The MDC said (thur) only 400 permits will be given out. More than six thousand huntersapplied last month.
