Life term possible for convicted Mid – Mo killer

A Fulton man faces a potential life prison sentence after being convicted of second degree murder for a 2019 drug-related killing in rural Calwood. The case was moved from Callaway to Boone County on a change of venue, and  The jury 50-year-old Justin Witt on all counts. Witt was convicted of killing Nathan Pritchett, a drug dealer who sold meth. Defense attorney Kathryn Benson argued self-defense, saying Witt shot Pritchett after being threatened.
