Hartsburg house fire

A house burned down over the weekend in southern Boone County. Firefighters say they were called to a home on Slate Creek Road near Hartsburg on Saturday. It doesn’t appear that anyone was hurt. Crews say the building was a total loss. No word yet on what caused the fire.
