JCMO mobile home fire sends two people to another place to stay

An adult and a child are staying somewhere else after their trailer burns. Firefighters were called to the mobile home on Kara Street in Jefferson City Tuesday afternoon. Firemen had the fire out quickly, but the home had heavy smoke damage. Investigators say the fire apparently started near a couch.

Upgrade to JCMO / Cole 9-1-1 system approved

Improved 9-1-1 services is moved ahead by the Jefferson City Council. They okayed a resolution to team up the city and county dispatch systems. The new communications software allows emergency response agencies to share information. ARPA money is paying for the upgrade.

Cole County man dies in motorcycle accident

A Wardsville man dies after a Monday motorcycle crash. Troopers say 20 – year old Logan Lowry died after running the bike off a curve and overturning. 19 – year old Reignah Taft was injured. The accident happened shortly after midnight Monday in Camden County.
