A two – county police chase ends with two suspects in the Moniteau County Jail. Jefferson City officers chased the pair down Highway – 50 and into Moniteau County. The driver crashed trying to avoid spike strips in the road. A man and a woman were arrested.

A Jefferson City man faces charges of threatening his girlfriend and firing shots into her car. 30 – year old Amadeo Williams is accused in the Monday incident. He faces charges ranging from weapons use, kidnapping, domestic violence and drug possession.

MU police have now confirmed that a student died on campus.  It happened late Wednesday afternoon, when 18-year-old Erik Severson of Aurora, Illinois was found unresponsive in his dorm room at Excellence Hall.  Police say he was pronounced dead there.
