Fires in Callaway County kept firefighters busy

Two Callaway County buildings are considered total losses after fires early Thursday morning. One destroyed the Russ Automotive building in Millersburg. The other is damaged the new county ambulance district headquarters in Fulton. No one was hurt in either fire.

Fire being investigated in JCMO neighborhood

Jefferson City firefighters continue to look into a Tuesday night fire. Crews were called out around 7:30 for a fire in the 400 – block of Cherry Street. Not much information is being released, but a spokesman says no one was injured. Firefighters were on scene for about two hours.
